The Arc's Core Values/Beliefs:

The following values and beliefs were drafted by The Arc of Minnesota's Public Relations Committee. The purpose of this committee is to craft clear, consistent messages to help raise awareness of The Arc of Minnesota, local and regional chapters, and the people we serve.

"The Arc believes that all people are to be valued, included, and involved in the community. To this end, The Arc:

  • Provides RESOURCES - services across the lifespan to ensure opportunities for people with developmental disabilities and their families to choose how they live, learn, work, and play.

  • Is the VOICE for people with disabilities, working hard on system change at all levels of government and in the community.

  • Is the GUIDE or NAVIGATOR supporting people with disabilities and their families in finding and connecting with community services."
