Free and Reduced Cost Legal Resources

and Legal Referral Services For Minnesota Students

The following individuals and organizations have indicated to the Minnesota Department of Children, Families & Learning (CFL) that they provide free or reduced cost legal assistance, referrals to attorneys, and/or other forms of student advocacy. Each agency may have limitations on whom it may serve. For instance, some agencies have guidelines associated with client income. In addition, each agency may be forced to make determinations about whom it can serve based on factors such as staff resources and the legal viability of each case. The best way to determine if an agency can help you is to call the agency you are considering. Even if an agency cannot take your case, it may be able to provide you with a referral to other legal resources.
